First Published Brochure
With a reputation for quality, Standel published its first brochure in 1954.
1954 Standel brochure featuring (from left to right): 25L15, 15L12 and 10L8. The 10L8, at the far right is a "Two-Tone" (black-coral-black) one of only two ever built. Its current owner is Jody Maphis, son of Joe Maphis, who gave it to him when he was a young boy.
Jody is currently active as a session guitarist in Nashville and is often found on tour as lead guitarist for MCA recording artist Gary Allan.
